Tool kits
Hi All,
In an effort to make my 3.0 more complete I am trying to ascertain the correct trunk contents, Such as tire pump, spare tire date code, tool kit ( bag style and contents ) , spare tire bag, Gloves, plastic mat , tire gauge , jack , first aid kit, Safety triangles or any other details. It would probably be helpful to know where your car Was originally delivered as that might have different clues. My car was originally delivered to Lebanon , The only thing that was in my trunk was the owafix gloves, And a spare tire bag, I'm not even so sure that it's original , It may have been a courtesy bag from Firestone in the 70's. I will post my pictures once I can resize them Best Regards, Rich 1977 Carrera |
Re: Tool kits
If the pic is your 'tool kit', it looks to be complete except for the fan belt.
:o |
Re: Tool kits
I do have a fan belt, I'm not sure if it's date or model correct ,
I will get a picture, I also have the fuses. I don't have a sunroof crank though... I'm looking to get confirmation on the wrenches, I have seen the same year turbo Kits with one of the wrenches being a DIN.... Best Regards, Rich |
Re: Tool kits
SO THEN, there must be 2(two) configurations of tool kits! I not having a 'sun/moon roof' wouldn't need the crank, my Targa has a 'roof latching key/crank' unless they are the same.
Well, now I got a new task>> Is the 'crank' & 'key' even part of the tool kit? |
Re: Tool kits
Window crank was provided separately and was originally in a separate small plastic bag. Photos of the 1976 toolkit are in the Carrera 2.7 book, with the 1977 variation being slightly different.
